National Priorities: Economic Empowerment

YWCA Vocational programs continue to offer quality training and employment services to their students, with financial aid to those who are economically disadvantaged.

Over the years, the YWCA has initiated new programs that were adopted by the government and by other private institutions. It has graduated close to 25,000 young people who have contributed to the welfare of their families and to the national economy.

Participants and beneficiaries are:

Youth from economically deprived areas and backgrounds.

Early school leavers who need to acquire a skill and gain constructive control of their lives.

Older women and widows requiring training in relevant income-generating skills in support of their families.
